PLAY is a long-forgotten children’s right in Hong Kong. Today children and teenagers are five to eight times more likely to be depressed or anxious than they were in the 1950s, and roughly four times more likely to commit suicide.
JCITW’s Children’s Play Rights aims to remind and educate parents the importance of PLAY before it’s too late. Play is essential for children’s development on language, analytical and decision-making skills. So don’t forget to give children at least an hour of free play time a day!
